Honoring the building’s public access commitments, the transformation redefined its atrium, corridors, and lobby—turning a once grand, yet impersonal space into a dynamic, publicly accessible hub for work and social connection.

WSECU Plaza is a project in Seattle’s University District driven by a strong commitment to community. Its simple, expressive form ties to nearby brick buildings, with a striking six-story glass façade anchoring the corner. Designed with sensitivity to pedestrians, the building’s scale, texture, and transparency create a welcoming, human-scaled space while providing a signature identity for Washington State Employees Credit Union.
